04 de diciembre de 2018, 14:55Ramallah, Dec 4 (Prensa Latina) Israeli forces demolished on Tuesday commercial structures in Hares, north of the West Bank, reported the local authorities this Tuesday.
The buildings were allegedly destroyed because they were built without a license from the so-called Israeli Civil Administration in Area C of the West Bank, which represents 94 percent of Hares’ land.
According to the Palestinian Authority Tel Aviv refuses to allow any Palestinian construction in Area C, which constitutes 60 percent of the whole West Bank and under total control of Israel.
That’s why Palestinian residents are forced to build their properties without permission, which are rarely granted.
In contrast, Israel clearly authorizes expansion to approximately 550,000 Jewish settlers who build without permits in the West Bank.
They are also provided with roads, electricity, water and sewage systems, services that remain inaccessible to many neighboring Palestinian communities.
