Three New Airlines to Operate in Bolivia


12 de enero de 2019, 02:13La Paz, Jan 12 (Prensa Latina) Brazilian airlines LATAM, Linhas Aéreas Brasil, Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras and Uruguayan Aero Vip will start operating in Bolivian territory this year, reported the Bolivian Ministry for Public Works, Services and Dwellings Friday.

LATAM Brasil will start on April 1st with three flights a week covering Sao Paulo-Viru Viru (Santa Cruz)-Sao Paulo.

The operations by Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras will start in the first quarter of 2019.

Meanwhile Aero Vip is already certified and it will soon be flying over Bolivia.

According to the state entity, the Paraguayan company Paranair showed its interest to obtain its certification of operation, and to that effect began its procedure.

Another airline that is in the process of obtaining its certification is Conviasa, from Venezuela, and a third one is Amerijet International Airlines, from the United States, which is about to be certified.
