10 de marzo de 2019, 10:16Caracas, Mar 10 (Prensa Latina) The Venezuelan government today promotes social plans with the objective of guaranteeing the distribution of food and hospital services, following the attacks on electricity service, reported by authorities.

President Nicolás Maduro said yesterday that the most recent sabotage of the national electricity system disturbed everything that had been advanced during the last two days to reconnect the country.

Before a crowd gathered in front of the Miraflores Palace, the president said that since Thursday’s sabotage of the Guri plant (Bolívar state), Venezuela has suffered a series of cybernetic, electromagnetic and physical attacks.

At midday we received another attack on one of the generation sources that was working perfectly and that knocked down everything that had been achieved so far, he said.

He explained that until last Saturday, progress was made in a sustained process of recovery that allowed returning the supply to 70 percent of the country, which was lost after the new attack.

Maduro blamed the United States and its right-wing allies for unleashing an electric war against the nation, which in the last six years left more than 200 dead.

He also asked the people for maximum understanding and said that the reconnection process that has begun now will be definitive and stable.

In this regard, explained that as part of a contingency plan, starting next Monday will ensure the supply of all products that the town needs with the activation of the Local Committees for Supply and Production (CLAP).

The CLAP in Venezuela is a food distribution device through which the government supplies millions of families.

Maduro added that he gave instructions to continue guaranteeing assistance to hospitals and all health services

He also explained that the executive had several power plants to strengthen the contingency plans of all health centers in the country.

He also reported that the government will seek mechanisms to provide water to the population, arranging tanker trucks of all private and public systems to bring the vital liquid to the town.

According to Union Radio, since the early hours of this Sunday, in some urbanizations in the west of Caracas, the electric service begins to be partially restored.
